Seth Rollins is the new World Heavyweight Champion after a hard fought match at Night of Champions.

On a stacked weekend of wrestling, WWE is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the second premium live event of the month with a stacked card and plenty of action following Backlash earlier in May.

The Visionary won an epic opening match – billed as one of three main events – with AJ Styles, battling an injured leg to finally hit a Stomp and secure a huge win while leaving the rest of the show with a tough act to follow.

Before the match, the Phenomenal One had played down any connection the new World Heavyweight Title may have to past iterations with the same name, and instead compared it to WWE’s so-called workhorse championship.

‘Basically, an upgraded Intercontinental Championship – that was always known for the workhorses of the company, I think that’s what this championship will be considered as,’ he exclusively told Metro.co.uk, and that still seems to be the case even with Rollins taking the win.

Elsewhere on the show, plenty of other titles are up for grabs with Bianca Belair defending her Raw Women’s Title against Asuka in a WrestleMania 39 rematch, while SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will face challenger Natalya.

Becky Lynch is going to be in action too in an epic inter-generational match against Trish Stratus following the Hall of Famer’s betrayal which cost Becky the Women’s Tag Team Titles, and Mustafa Ali is hoping to finally win gold with GUNTHER standing in his way.

In a rematch from Backlash, Cody Rhodes will battle with a broken arm against Brock Lesnar with both men looking for a measure of revenge – the Beast for the loss earlier in the month, and the American Nightmare for his injury.

Meanwhile, the main event will see the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles on the line as champs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defend their gold against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
