I found my dream dress at H&M but it was £400… but it scanned SO much cheaper at the till thanks to a magical manager

A H&M fan was left stunned after finding the dress of her dreams on the sale rack – but the real surprise came when she scanned it at the till.

Donna Clacer revealed that she’d spotted the beaded mini dress while browsing the clearance section in her local store.

Donna was stunned to find this £400 dress on the sale rack in her local H&M – but was then thrilled to find it reduced to just £47 at the tillTikTok/@donnaclacer

The Beaded Mini Dress is currently still available to buy on H&M’s UK website for £399H&M

After realising it didn’t have a label, she asked a sales assistant to check the price.

And while at first she was told the Beaded Mesh Mini Dress was a whopping £355, she was left stunned when a ‘magical’ manager dropped the price to just £47.

She said: “I’m at H&M, and I found this dress in the clearance section.

“It’s fully beaded. It’s missing a few beads, but it’s fixable.

“I’m gonna double-check how much it is because there’s no tag.”

During the one-minute video, Donna is seen chatting with a sales assistant who claims the dress was originally £355 ($600).

The content creator then reveals they offered to drop the price to £177 ($300), due to the missing beads and straps.

However, a manager then comes over to help and drops it to £59 ($99), and then just £47 ($79).

Donna then explains that she’s planning to compete in the Miss Universe Canada, and will wear it during one of her appearances.

Her bargain deal attracted plenty of attention online, gaining more than 43,200 likes and 571,900 views.

In the comments, fashion fans shared their reactions, with one writing: “The most wild thing that’s ever happened at H&M.”

“Bargain of the century,” commented another.

A third put: “I’ve been sleeping on H&M.”

Although people were more distracted by the fact a £430 ($600) dress was available to buy in-store anyway, with one writing: “600 for H&M is one big joke… how dare they.”

Someone else put: “I didn’t even know h&m had these high prices.”
