Yet another duplication glitch has surfaced in Tears Of The Kingdom, only a few days after Nintendo patched the game.

Despite its size and scope, Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom has managed to maintain an impressively glitch free experience

Of course, there have been a few hiccups along the way, but issues like the various duplication glitches have been deemed as more of a helpful tool than a nuisance.

While Nintendo is surely working hard to patch the game up, Zelda players seem more determined than ever to uncover new ways to acquire an endless stash of rare materials.

The recently discovered duplication glitch in version 1.1.2 of Tears Of The Kingdom is admittedly a bit more elaborate compared to the previous ones, but the process remains straightforward.

As shared by YouTuber Kibbles Gaming, the glitch involves throwing an item and then watching four memories – which can be unlocked by locating geoglyphs and dragon’s tears

Each memory viewed progresses the gameplay by a single frame, and it takes four frames for Link to execute the item throw action, as explained by the YouTuber.

Here are the steps you need to follow to successfully perform the new duplication exploit:

Manually save your game

Use R to have Link prepare to throw a weapon or item

While he’s holding the weapon/item, press the (–) button to open the map

Scroll down to memories in the Adventure Log and watch four memories (you can always press X to skip through them)

Press the (+) button to go to the saved files

Load up the save file from the first step

If you manage to pull off the glitch when you reload Tears Of The Kingdom the weapon will still be in Link’s inventory, but there will also be a duplicate of the weapon thrown right in front of him.

This method can be a game-changer for stocking up on your favourite weapons, especially if you’re not a fan of the game’s weapon degradation feature.
