ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall has been asked to face questions from MPs on the latest updates concerning This Morning and Phillip Schofield.
Following his departure, it emerged that the TV presenter had an affair with a younger employee of the programme, which he was said to have lied about when questioned by the broadcaster in 2020.
Dame Carolyn has been called to address politicians about the controversy at a session of the Culture, Media and Sport committee on June 14.
