Original Made in Chelsea star Cheska Hull announces engagement after quitting showbiz life-Tori Brazier-Entertainment – Metro

Congratulations are in order for original Made in Chelsea star Cheska Hull, who has announced her engagement to partner Damian Cook.

The 38-year-old appeared on the hit E4 reality show alongside pals including Binky Felstead and Ollie Locke from 2011 until 2014.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday she shared a picture of her perfectly manicured hand in front of pink flowers, sporting a gorgeous diamond ring on her engagement finger.

‘I said yes! Obvs! Love you @pacrook1 and can’t wait to be your wife! Xxx,’ the Made by Cheska owner wrote in the caption.

The mum-of-one made a brief reappearance on the show that launched her in 2017 to announce she was pregnant with son Charlie, whom she shares with ex Tom Huggett.

Afterwards, she quit London and showbiz for a quiet life in Devon, and last year met now fiancé Damian on the school run.

The pair have embraced life as a blended family alongside his two teenage daughters and son.

Cheska, who now works in PR, admitted that she knew she had to uproot her glamorous life in West London for the peace and quiet of rural Devon because she was ‘depressed and struggling’.

‘Everything became difficult – getting out of bed in the morning, saying yes to social engagements, being with friends. I knew in order to get my mental health back on track–and to be me again – I had to leave,’ she told Closer magazine in April.

She also spilled details on her romance with Damian, revealing their relationship began with ‘outrageous flirting every Wednesday’ while dropping their sons off at school after she had been ‘single for a while’.

Cheska added to the publication: ‘I remember I was waiting to pick up my son in the playground. I looked over and was like, “That’s the kind of guy I should be with.”

‘I didn’t know if he was married or what the situation was, I just thought, “Oh, he looks lovely. I wish I was with someone like that.” The rest is history.’
