East 17 singer Brian Harvey has been spotted reportedly causing a disruption to a BBC broadcast as a ‘protester’ as Prince Harry made his way into court.

On Wednesday June 7, the Duke of Sussex returned to the High Court for his second day in the witness box as part of his legal battle with Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN).

The BBC were reporting from the scene, with news correspondent Joe Inwood sharing the identity of a well-known figure who reportedly could be heard live on TV during their coverage.

Sharing a picture of the 48-year-old on Twitter, he tweeted: ‘So, turns out the protester who disrupted our live broadcast… Was Brian Harvey from E17! No wonder I lost my train of thought!’

It’s been claimed that Harvey ‘loudly heckled’ Prince Harry as he arrived on the scene in central London.

The musician was wearing a grey jumper and trackies embossed with the logo for BHTV, which stands for The Official Brian Harvey Television Channel.
