Several leaks have revealed important details about Warzone 2’s new Resurgence map Vondel, including what it looks like and the names of various locations.

Only four months after Ashika Island was introduced to Warzone 2, the game is gearing up for yet another Resurgence map in the near future.

According to leaks, the upcoming map, named Vondel, takes a completely different direction from the desert-like Al Mazrah and the Japanese-themed Ashika Island, drawing inspiration from Amsterdam and the Netherlands.

While Vondel is expected to be a Resurgence map, whispers suggest that it may also be used for the battle royale mode sometime after its launch.

None of this information has been officially confirmed yet but anticipation is high for Vondel’s arrival in Warzone 2, especially with the Season 4 update scheduled for Wednesday, June 14.

As the map’s rumoured release date draws near, an increasing number of leaks are surfacing, unveiling various locations within it.

A mysterious Twitter account called Alaix has posted a list of most, if not all of Vondel’s DMZ zones, which are as follows:

Aquarium City Hall

Fire Station

Nieuwe Stadspoort

Old Museum

Floating House

University

New Museum

Police Station

Stadium Cruise

Terminal Train Station

Some locations, like Nieuwe Stadspoort, provide a clear nod to physical landmarks in Amsterdam, meaning it’s likely to feature a small castle-like structure that overlooks a river.

It’s expected that Vondel will be smaller in size compared to Al Mazrah but still larger than Ashika Island, according to a leaked image of the map’s aerial view.

The aerial view of the map was accidentally revealed when the cover art for a soundtrack called Sound Of Vondel was prematurely posted on social media.

While the image has now been deleted, popular Call Of Duty site CharlieIntel has reposted it on Twitter.
