Britain’s Got Talent star Kerri-Anne Donaldson has died, it has been confirmed.

Donaldson performed on the talent show back in 2014 as part of the dance group Kings and Queens.

The Supadance National League shared the sad news of her death on Thursday (June 8).

They wrote: ‘The directors of the League are devastated to hear the extremely sad news of the passing of the daughter of their fellow directors Jacqui and Colin Donaldson principals at Diamond Dancecentre and on behalf of all the schools in the League send love and prayers to them, their family and dance school!

‘RIP Kerri Anne 💔🕊️’

Her cause of death is not currently known.

Strictly Come Dancing pros who worked with Donaldson have paid tribute to her, including Neil Jones, Amy Dowden, and creative director Jason Gilkison.

Neil shared a photo of her on Instagram, writing a heartfelt caption.

‘Kerri Anne Donaldson- remember that name and please never forget it because it belongs to a woman who loved to dance, create and perform, she had the cheekiest laugh and a heart of gold, she hated getting in the car with me, but would always listen to my crazy ideas, we shared so many moments and stories and she was always the voice of reason,’ he penned.

Neil lovingly signed off: ‘Kerri you were my friend and like my big sister. 🧡’

Janette Manrara commented sweetly: ‘How sad to see this news. She was a such a lovely person. My hearts goes out to all her friends and family during this time 🥺🙏🏼’

‘Heartbroken😔’, added Karen Hauer.

‘So sorry for your loss’, wrote Michelle Visage.

In his own tribute, Jason wrote: ‘I am still in complete shock and absolutely heartbroken to learn that my dear friend Kerri has been taken from us. Such a beautiful lady inside and out. I just can’t believe it 💔💔💔 RIP beautiful Kerri x’

Welsh dance star Amy wrote on her Instagram Story: ‘So shocked and sad. Such a beautiful dancer and kind soul! Sending love to all of your family and friends. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. Keep dancing up there lovely.’

Underneath Donaldson’s last social media post, shared on May 6, Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse commented: ‘R.I.p dear ❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾’

Donaldson worked with the Strictly cast on several occasions.

In 2019, she was involved in choreography for the Here Come The Girls tour, which featured Amy, Dianne Buswell, and Chloe Hewitt.

Donaldson wrote on Instagram at the time, alongside a snap from rehearsals: ‘Have loved working with this talented bunch the last couple of days, make sure you go see the show @herecomethegirlstour it’s gonna be fierce!!!! #herecomethegirlstour #girlpower’.
