I’m a curvy girl and put the M&S shapewear to the test – the anti-chafing shorts are a must-have for summer
A FASHION fan decided to put some of the different styles of shapewear from Marks & Spencer to the test recently to see if i was really worth the hype.
Mum-of-four Rosie Henshaw bought the underwear and tried it on to see how much of a difference they really make.

First up, the mum tried on the Firm Control High Leg Knickers, which cost £10 for a pack of two.
The thing Rosie liked about the style was that even though they’re bigger than a lot of underwear to give you a smooth look, they’re sill a flattering because of the high leg design.
She said: “They’re so fitted they’ve sucked my excess skin down in one area and flattened this bit too.”
The only problem she had with the shapewear was that the top of her hips did poke out a bitt because of the high leg.
“You could probably wear a nice pair of jeans and feel really comfortable in these,” she added.
Next, Rosie tried on the Firm Control Full Briefs, which are also £10 for a pack of two.
“These are the comfort knickers of dreams. Call me Bridget Jones, they are amazing,” she raved.
The full briefs covered more of Rosie’s hips, stomach and bum, which is exactly what she wanted.
“It’s so sucked in you can’t see my little stomach pouch and on the bum cheeks it cups the side,” she said.
Unlike some shapewear, Rosie couldn’t believe how well the briefs sucked her in but remained comfortable.
And although she wasn’t expecting much from them before trying them on, she loved the Anti-Chafe Shorts, which are £20 for a two pack.
Unlike the other underwear, the anti-chafe shorts aren’t designed to suck you in so much, but Rosie was still concerned by the thing material.
She said: “They feel like tights material, they don’t feel like they’re going to do anything.”
But once she got them on the mum couldn’t believe how well the shorts worked.
“Omg they are smoother than smooth,” she said.
“If you chafe in the summer, throw away all the creams, these are nice and thin, you’re not going to sweat in these and they stop your legs from chafing,” she added.
