Selena Gomez isn’t shying away from being single – in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
The 30-year-old actress has been open about the highs and lows of her love life and couldn’t resist laughing at her own expense in a hilarious TikTok video this week.
Sitting watching a football (soccer) match with some friends, she wanted everyone to know she’s available.
‘I’m single,’ she shouted out. ‘I’m just a little high-maintenance. But I’ll love you soooo much.’
Her pals could be heard laughing in the background, and Selena shared the clip online as she wrote: ‘The struggle man lol.’
Her followers absolutely loved the brutal honesty, with plenty of people definitely relating as they described it as a ‘mood’.

‘Imagine Selena Gomez screaming I’m single at you,’ replied one fan, while another added: ‘I literally love this woman so much.’
A lot of other people were instantly reminded of her Wizards of Waverly Place character Alex Russo, and we can see it too.
‘Alex Russo vibes,’ commented one fan, as another quipped: ‘This is still Alex Russo but 15 years older.’

The Only Murders In the Building actress has been open about her dating life, and back in May 2022 she hosted Saturday Night Live and insisted she had no interest in dating apps.
Admitting she was ‘manifesting love’, she teased: ‘I would like to say that I’m looking for my soulmate. But at this point, I will take anyone.’
And she previously told Apple Music’s Beats 1 star Zane Lowe that trying to have a relationship in the public eye is ‘so cliché’, as ‘everyone dates everyone’ and finds themselves ‘within this little bubble’ because ‘it’s safe’.

She explained: ‘You’re wanting someone to understand what you’re going through, you’re almost wanting a counterpart of creativity as well, and it’s interesting and fun.
‘But the problem with that is you end up, whether you admit it or not, you’re having a relationship for people and not even for yourself.’
