Trinny Woodall has said she is recovering from a car accident that left her feeling ‘battered and bruised.’

The make-up guru, 59, shared she had been in a crash last week in LA and explained on an Instagram video it had ‘knocked me for six.’

Calling it a ‘silly little car accident’, the What Not To Wear presenter said she’d had her arm in a bandage.

She captioned the post: ‘I’m m still feeling a bit battered and bruised from my little car accident last week.

‘Also need to share how I’m not sleeping well and taking melatonin. I’m watching TV to get to sleep with a screen right by my face.

‘It’s time to change some habits.’

Trinny was in a relationship with Charles Saatchi but the pair are thought to have split in March after 10 years together.

The beauty icon’s friends reportedly told The Sun the presenter felt it was ‘time to move on’ and that ‘their age difference started to become and issue’.

The source apparently continued sharing: ‘Charles wants to slow down. He prefers quiet evenings at home while Trinny feels the opposite.

‘She feels she’s in her prime and wants to be out and about’.

The British beauty entrepreneur was in a relationship with the 79-year-old for 10 years following his split from TV chef and ex-wife Nigella Lawson, 61.
