Love Island 2023’s summer series is underway, and it’s already brought us plenty of drama after just one week of villa action.

From the first coupling up to the arrival of bombshells to mix things up in the villa – leaving Molly confused about her feelings after striking up a connection with newcomer Sammy – it’s keeping us gripped so far.

But the path of true love won’t run smooth for everyone, with many islanders being unceremoniously dumped from the villa as the series progresses – falling victim to public votes, recouplings which leave them single, and more besides.

With that in mind, who has left Love Island 2023 so far?

Who has left Love Island 2023 so far?

Here’s who has made an early exit from the villa…

George Fensom

George Fensom became the first Islander to be dumped, after the first recoupling of the series left him single.

The 24-year-old business development exec lost out after Jess Harding – whom he had been coupled up with at the start of the series by the public vote – chose instead to recouple with bombshell Sammy Root.

Whitney Adebayo was the final girl to choose, and it was between George and Medhy Malanda – but she ultimately chose Medhi.

George said afterwards his time on the show had been ‘a blast’, while Jess admitted she’d always have a soft spot for him and his dad jokes.

However he added: ‘Jess is an absolutely lovely girl but it felt more like a friendship. Jess and I were always cracking banter and having the best time. I just don’t think there was anything there romantically, but that’s completely fair enough.

‘If it was up to me to choose on day one, I would’ve definitely gone for Molly, she’s such a good-looking girl.’
