I’m plus-size and got Skims swimwear – I’m in love with the micro bikini bottoms but the monokini sits under my fupa

A CURVY fashionista finally gave in and bought Skims swimsuits to see if they were worth the hype — and she was impressed.

Christiana snapped up four pieces from Kim Kardashian’s brand, and while three were hits, one was a fupa-flaunting flop.

“I just want to see what the hype is about,” Christiana (@badbrownskinnn) admitted in a TikTok video as she unboxed her swim haul.

Immediately, she said she was “so geek” for the first Skims set, Micro Tanga Bikini Bottoms, $36, and the Swim T-shirt, $52, in neon green.

She bought the bottoms in a size 2X and the top in a size large and was smitten from the moment she put it on.

“I’m in love,” she said.

“I got a bunch of different styles of bottoms to see which one flatters my body the best but these ones? Not too bad,” she said.

However, she told viewers that she wouldn’t be turning around to show what it looked like from the back

“I’ve also never owned a swim shirt and this is cute,” she said enthusiastically.

Next up were pink Cheeky Tanga Bottoms, $36, and a matching Triangle Top, $38.

“It’s the colors on my skin for me,” she said.

“Now these bottoms are the Cheeky Tanga, so more coverage in the back than the Micro Tanga.

“And I really like this fit. It’s not digging in or nothing.”

But holding up the strapless monokini in blue, which appears to have sold out, she predicted that this was “where we could go wrong.”

Upon trying it on, she did away with the detachable straps, saying she wasn’t “feeling it” with them hooked on.

“I don’t typically gravitate toward stuff like this, so I was trying to get out of my comfort zone,” she explained with regret in her tone.

“The color is beautiful,” she went on.

“But I feel like that was a mistake, because the bottom of the swimsuit sits right under my fupa, which is not really flattering on my stomach,” she said, pointing to the top of the bikini bottoms.

“It’s also kind of digging in on the side. And this is a size 2X. And I just can’t picture anyone with 2X-size chichis fitting in [the top].”

Finally, she donned another large Triangle Top, $38, and matching size-2X thong bottoms, $36.

“Now I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t get some kind of brown,” she said.

“And I like it, I really like the fit of this. I think it’s super flattering and very comfortable.”

But she warned shoppers that it’s “definitely the kind of swimsuit you wear on baecation, not your family vacation.”

“But if you are a girly who likes a thong swimsuit like I do, you’ll like this.”

Now, Christiana said, she just needs somewhere to wear them.

“This was my first time trying Skims Swim and honestly… I see what the hype is about,” she wrote in the caption.
