Liv Morgan has the right idea after jetting off for a birthday trip during her injury recovery.

The WWE superstar is out of action after suffering an apparent shoulder injury which forced her and her tag partner Raquel Rodriguez to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Championships just six weeks into their reign.

It’s not clear when fans will see the wrestler back in the ring, but she’s staying positive after celebrating her 29th birthday in Tulum with former WWE star CJ Perry (Lana) in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

She shared a photo of herself in a stunning gold bikini and stylish bucket hat, completing the look with a pair of round glasses.

She simply captioned the tweet: ‘Bye ☀️✨’

She posted the same photo on her Instagram Story, while she also took to the photo sharing site with a close-up selfie of herself gazing into the camera and wrote: ‘The face of a sweet innocent girl celebrating her birthday in Tulum ✨’

Liv recently responded to an outpouring of support since her injury, as a group of fans came together to create a virtual ‘get well; card.

The image featured them all holding up their hands in a heart shape, and the message: ‘We [love] U Liv. Get well soon. We will always watch U.’

Sharing the post with her followers, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion tweeted: ‘Thank you guys 🖤’

Meanwhile, Dakota Kai could miss around nine months of action after getting hurt in the same bout as Liv, and the Damage CTRL star recently underwent surgery for a torn ACL.

New tag team champions have been crowned too, with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler winning the gold in a match featuring Damage CTRL’s Bayley and Iyo Sky, Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green, and Raquel Rodriguez with her new partner Shotzi.

However, things could change again after Ronda and Shayna confronted NXT Women’s Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown and laid down a challenge.

The two teams will face off in a unification match in two weeks, with the winners being named the definitive Women’s Tag Team Champions and defending the gold across Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
