In news that nobody saw coming, three very famous celebrities are giving the Bermuda Triangle a run for its money.

Because, let’s face it, the reported love triangle between Shakira, Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton is even more mysterious than the plane-swallowing area of the North Atlantic.

Rumours are rife that both 60-year-old Tom and Lewis, 38, are vying for 46-year-old popstar Shakira’s attention, with actor Tom’s pride allegedly taking a bashing after Shakira decided to globe-trot with Formula One star Lewis recently.

A quick breakdown for you: last month, Shakira and Tom were spotted spending time together at the F1 Miami Grand Prix.

Both appeared to be in high spirits and the get-together sparked romance rumours, seeing as doting mum Shakira is single following her high-profile split from her footballer ex Gerard Piqué last year.

But since Shakira and Tom’s outing, the Whenever, Wherever singer has been snapped hanging out with Lewis on numerous occasions, with the pair enjoying boat rides together in Miami and dining out in Spain.

According to the Mirror, Tom’s pride has been ‘dented’ by Shakira, real name Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, and Lewis’ outings, with a source saying the Mission Impossible star reckoned he and Shakira had ‘incredible chemistry’.

However, US Weekly reported in May that Shakira had ‘no interest’ in dating Tom and found romance rumours ‘hilarious’. Ouch.

A source told the outlet: ‘Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him.’

As for Shakira and Lewis, the latter was seen wrapping his arm around the former earlier his month after they grabbed a spot of dinner with pals in Barcelona.

However, despite speculation, there has been no indication from either celebrity as to whether they are friends or romantically involved.

That said, Shakira recently shared a mildly suspicious comment when speaking to Mexican newspaper Milenio about her personal life, saying according to GP Fans: ‘I’m rediscovering the material I’m made of and also wanting to find that.’

Of course, that hasn’t stopped social media users from sending the rumour mill into overdrive, with one person tweeting: ‘I have seen Lewis and Shakira together one too many times, tell me it’s true [sic]’ and another adding, ‘Lewis and Shakira dating would be such a slay tbh [sic].’
