I was so excited to visit the UKs biggest Primark but it was a huge disappointment and the prices made my jaw drop

A WOMAN was left with a sense of disappointment after visiting the biggest Primark in the UK.

What’s better than Primark? Shopping at the UK’s biggest Primark that’s based in Birmingham… or at least, that’s what one woman, Charlotte Ann, thought.

Keen to see what the fuss was all about, Charlotte dashed to the massive store, which had three floors worth of goods.

Whilst checking out the jaw-dropping collection, the customer noted that the largest Primark in the world had recently opened in Dubai, the UAE.

”It’s big, it’s like three storeys – it had its onw nail bar in it,” Charlotte revealed in her video posted on TikTok.

However, shortly after this, the initial excitement seemed to wear off, as Charlotte walked further into the store.

The large amount of people and sales on every corner meant shoppers were going berserk, throwing clothing on the floor.

”Look at the state of this – it was bad. There was clothes chucked everywhere.”

To make the shopping haul even more unpleasant, Charlotte also soon discovered that the prices were skyrocketing.

After finding a two-piece set of what appeared to be comfortable pyjamas, the shopper was mortified by the price – £20.

”I’m not being funny, I would not give £20 for that.

”Even all the sunglasses – remember when the sunglasses used to be £1 – they’re all like £3.50 now.

”All the junk jewellery – I remember they used to be £2.”

She went on: ”I was really disappointed cause I waited weeks and weeks to come here and I thought it was gonna be so boujee and so amazing.”

Fellow shoppers in the comments, too, said the experience of visiting the store had been a let-down.

One wrote: ”i use to live 20min train journey from here. went once since it opened.

”Hated it too warm n crowded primark.”

Another added: ”I’d get so overwhelmed by all of it. I remember the £1 sunglasses.”

”PJ’s are so expensive now! £9 for pj pants and £9 for the matching top! bedding £22! it’s so expensive,” someone else complained about the new prices.

”Birmingham Primark is PRISTINE in the morning you’ll need to get there within an hour of opening or else it gets raided,” a shopping fan advised.
