Cody Rhodes has helped a devastated young WWE fan with free tickets after a disappointing turn of events.
The American Nightmare has been a hit with fans since he returned to the fold at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, and he continues to go above and beyond to make sure people have the best experience.
This week, a fan Dustin Wood revealed he had initially booked entrance aisle tickets to WWE’s live event in Charleston, West Virginia this weekend, only to find out Cody wouldn’t be there.
He explained: ‘Got @wwe tickets for #WWECharleston as a Father’s Day gift to go with my 5 year old son to solely see @CodyRhodes together.
‘We get tickets on the entrance aisle so my son is close enough to maybe see Cody or get incredibly lucky to receive his weight belt.’
When the former Intercontinental Champion’s schedule was announced, he wasn’t listed for the event.

Dustin added: ‘Heartbroken we sell the tickets to at least recover some of the cost of the trip… Four days before the event… a surprise announcement he’s coming after all. Tickets are gone.’
The tweet – which was titled ‘a happy ending’ made its way to Cody, who revealed the story has a ‘happy ending’ after ‘Road Dogg’ Brain James made sure he could be at the show.
He said: ‘Tickets are on me, check your DMs, can’t wait to see you.’
