WWE fans haven’t seen Randy Orton for over a year now but it seems he’s finding ways to keep busy away from the ring.

The former world champion has been out of action since May 2022, with reports later claiming he underwent fusion surgery on his lower back and there has been plenty of concern for his future in wrestling in recent months.

Official news has been few and far between since then – although his dad Bob Orton claimed he’s been told not to wrestle again – and while Randy’s wife Kim Orton has given fans a look at the legendary star, it’s not quite everyone has been waiting for.

She took to Instagram on Thursday and shared a picture of the third generation wrestler massaging her foot as he stares down the camera with his trademark intense glare.

Kim captioned the snap: ‘💅 👅 💦 always on my digits #luckyme❤️’

Her followers clearly approved, with WWE star Charlotte Flair – who recently returned to SmackDown for the first time since WrestleMania 39 in April – among the people responding to the unexpected picture.

‘YES QUEEN ❤️🙌🔥,’ she responded, while a fan joked: ‘So that’s where Randy’s been all this time 😂’

Another follower pointed out that the 14-time world champ looks like he’s in great shape, adding: ‘He looks GOOD’.

‘The only time we see Randy is through Kim 😭❤️ lol,’ teased another fan after any recent pictures of Randy have come through her social media account.

Back in November, Kim marked their seventh wedding anniversary with a sweet selfie of them together her husband in bed in a hospital gown, with half of his face obscured by a mask.

She didn’t reveal when the photo itself was taken, so there’s no confirmation it was necessarily a recent snap, but she did hint that there was a funny story to be told one day.

At the end of an emotional caption, she wrote: ‘FAMILY♥️LOVE♥️LOYALTY♥️ we have that tattooed on our bodies because it’s the most important thing to us. ME, YOU, OUR FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS, that’s all that matters.

According to previous reports, the Viper had been dealing with his back injury for a while, with the situation getting ‘progressively worse’, and over summer there were concerns he could undergo surgery and miss the remainder of 2022.

Earlier last year, the so-called Legend Killer admitted he had started to ‘feel’ the effects of his signature RKO finishing move, which his RK-Bro tag partner Riddle has started to adopt.

‘I kind of wish I could go back in time and create a finishing move that didn’t entail me jumping up as high as I can and landing on my back,’ he told Fox 2 Now in St. Louis.

‘After doing that a couple of thousand times over the last few decades, I’m starting to feel it.’
