It was a Father’s Day to remember for Jessie J and her family.

The singer posted an adorable clip of her dad Stephen cradling her newborn son Sky – and it’s too sweet for words.

In the clip, her dad can be seen visibly emotional as he cuddles his grandson tight (who happens to look like he’s thoroughly enjoying his nap) holding back tears. Jessie’s mum Rose appears towards the end of the short video.

‘Video says it all,’ the Laserlight singer wrote in the caption. ‘Happy Father’s / Grandads day Dad. Man I’m so lucky.’

‘He just kept saying “I’m just so happy for you, I know how much you have always wanted this,”’ she continued, before adding that baby Sky was the fifth grandchild in the family.

The hitmaker’s mum and dad are clearly overjoyed for their daughter and her much-longed-for child.

Jessie, 35, welcomed her first child into the world last month with her partner professional basketball player Chanan Safir Colman and she’s been keeping fans updated as she enjoys her journey into motherhood. 

From enjoying baby cuddles in fluffy bear onesies to keeping it real about post-partum bodies, the Price Tag singer is only too happy to allow fans a glimpse into her family life. 

The mum-of-one kept her followers up to date throughout her pregnancy and announcing Sky’s birth in May, she penned: ‘The feeling is indescribable I am flying in love. He is magic. He is literally all my dreams come true. He is my whole world.’

‘He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine.’

Jessie previously faced fertility challenges and suffered a devastating miscarriage in November 2021, just weeks before meeting Chanan.

Since then, she has been open about her desire to have a baby and is clearly relishing every second. 

Since the birth of their son, Jessie has paid public tribute to Chanan saying she wouldn’t love her partner ‘quietly’ anymore as she shared adorable snippets of their journey together as new parents on Instagram.
