Fashion fans weigh in after Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan moans about chub rub & a £3 Primark buy is hailed a lifesaver

FASHION fans have come to Coleen Nolan’s rescue after the star admitted she hates wearing summer dresses because of ‘chub rub’.

The Loose Women panellist discussed her summer style predicament live on the ITV lunchtime show, as she admitted she was in need of an anti-chafing secret.

Coleen Nolan said she’d experienced ‘painful’ chafingITV

She spoke about ‘chub rub’ during a discussion on Loose WomenITV

Speaking about her style choices during this period of warmer weather, the 58-year-old explained to her co-stars: “I want to wear lovely summer dresses now.

“I’m always in trousers so I thought I’d wear dresses – blimmin heck, I get chub rub.

“It’s really painful. It’s friction on my thigh.”

Coleen then told fellow panellists – including Ruth Langsford and Linda Robson – more about the problem, which comes about when the inner thighs rub against one another and cause spots, bumps and discomfort.

She continued: “I really envy people with thigh gaps at this time of the year.

“They don’t know what I’m talking about but, with me, it’s chub rub – I don’t like it.”

She then added: “Honestly, it’s so bad that I could start a fire. That’s how bad it is.”

However, Loose Women viewers who were tuning in at home were keen to tell Coleen that she was not alone.

After the ITV show uploaded a video of the discussion to their TikTok account @loosewomenofficial, many of their 42k followers offered up their advice on how she can put a stop to it.

And they all had plenty of options up their sleeves, from liquid talc to a certain type of underwear.

This included a bargain buy from Primark, which one person said can be bought from around £3 and helps to alleviate the problem.

They wrote: “Primark cycling shorts do the trick.”

Another suggested: “Cycle shorts. Problem solved.”

A third social media user wrote: “Cycling shorts are the way forward Coleen.”

Others said that Asda sells a £1.20 product called liquid talc, which they suggested would mean Coleen “won’t suffer again.”

Another echoed their thoughts, as they typed: “Asda liquid talc in the baby section is amazing.”

While one more wrote: “Liquid talc! £1.20 from Asda in the baby section. GAME CHANGER.”

Elsewhere, others were also quick to thank Coleen for “saying it how it is” and representing so many women in the UK.

One person said: “Coleen, I’m with you!”

A second added: “Love her!”
