Love Island has settled in nicely since launching earlier in June, and it’s a welcome return to form.

From baffling bikinis to a dental nurse who actually turned out to be a dominatrix, there’s already plenty to keep social media buzzing.

Despite feeling like it just started, the show is moving along at a brisk pace – with plenty of dumpings already having taken place.

As the series ramps up, that can only mean one thing. Casa Amor is on the horizon.

The separate villa which introduces a new cast of bombshells who disrupt the happy couples, resulting in fireworks (and not always the good kind).

When could Casa Amor 2023 start?

While there’s never an official start date for Casa Amor, looking at past seasons of the show, there is a pattern that emerges.

Typically, Casa Amor will start airing between episodes 25 and 30, which is around four or five weeks into the series.

Tonight’s episode (Monday, June 19) is episode 11 of the show. So by that logic, we can estimate that the first rumblings of Casa Amor will be felt around Monday, July 3.

What happens during Casa Amor?

The cast are split into two villas. One group stays in the original villa, and the other is taken to Casa Amor. There, they are met with a number of bombshells from the opposite sex who will try to ‘turn their heads.’

Famous Casa Amor contestants who went on to really shake up their respective seasons in the past have included Jack Fowler, Kaz Crossley and Ovie Soko.

Love Island continues weekdays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, airing an Unseen Bits episode on Saturdays.
