Woman shows off £12 Primark pyjama bottoms she’s bought for holiday outfit – and it’s really divided opinion

THE sleepwear as daywear trend is in full swing, as top celebs like Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid have been seen sporting nighties and underwear out in public.

With loose and flattering sets and slips it’s no wonder many of us are turning to pyjamas for a flowy look in the summer heat.

But just because most of us can’t afford designer and luxury sleepwear doesn’t mean we can’t come up with some creative and comfy sleepwear looks.

One woman has shared how she styled her Primark pyjama bottoms for a holiday outfit.

Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook the savvy shopper said her outfit was sorted for just £15.

She said: “Thank you to this group. That’s a holiday outfit sorted for £15. Primark PJ bottoms and managed to find a vest in the same colour.”

The Primark fan wore the brand’s wide leg Floral Print Satin Pyjama Bottoms.

The high street store says the £12 trousers are ‘perfect when you don’t want to compromise on style or comfort.’

With a soft satin fabric you’ll get a nice airy freedom to move around unrestricted but the trousers do have an elastic waistband.

And although Primark says they are perfect for rest and rejuvenation, the fashion fan said she would be wearing them outside in the sun.

The post quickly racked up over 5,800 likes and 770 comments online.

It seems there was debate as to whether the trend was a hit or a flop, many argued they loved the idea and would be applying it themselves.

One user said: “I did the same the other week. Loved it. They have so many nice sets in at the moment that could be worn out x”

“Too bloody nice for bed, they will be great for on holiday,” chimed another.

Unsurprisingly many users were not fans of the trend.

One user said: “Lovely colours but wouldn’t catch me going on a night out in my pjs.”

“The night dress is passable but the bottoms look straight out look like pj’s,” said another.

Others said they liked the trend but it had become so popular it could no longer be considered discrete.

One user said: “The problem with everyone posting pics of their “nightwear” is that we all know it’s pyjamas/nightie.”
