WWE superstar LA Knight has issued a warning to Logan Paul amid rumours he could be heading for Money In The Bank.

The confident star is heading towards the July 1 premium live event in London as an overwhelming fan favourite to win the signature ladder match, but the controversial YouTuber could be competing with him for the coveted briefcase, which comes with a guaranteed shot at a world championship.

Asked about the rumours Logan could get involved, Knight exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Well, I think that’d be a very bad idea for him!’

The former Million Dollar Champion acknowledged that the social media sensation has been impressive in his matches so far since debuting at WrestleMania 38 last year.

However, LA Knight insisted that being in the ring with him is a very different prospect for Logan.

‘As much as he’s shined in all of his matches he’s had so far, he’s gonna find out that it’s not gonna be quite the same shine this time around when I’m in that ring,’ he promised.

The 40-year-old star initially reported to the Performance Center a decade ago, but things didn’t work out and he went onto build his reputation working for the likes of IMPACT Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance.

After debuting in NXT on Valentine’s Day in 2021, he impressed fans and bosses, working his way up to finally getting his chance on the main roster.

‘I’m ready to go. This is something, for me, that I feel’s been long overdue. It’s been something that I’ve had to break my ass for,’ he pointed out.

‘It’s something I’ve had to be broke for, sleep in cars and drive all across the United States and fly around the world to make this happen – finally, here we are.’

Over that journey, Knight has built himself into the total package, and he noted that much of the past decade has been spent perfecting the persona fans see before them today.

‘For the last 10 years I’ve pretty much just been grinding away as some amalgamation of this personality, this wrestler, superstar, whatever you wanna call it – megastar, yeah,’ he said, shouting the last word in his signature tone.

‘To me, it was like, no matter where I was, I’m always working like I’m here, like I’m in WWE. And if I’m not, it’s at least like somebody might me watching, even though chances are nobody was!

‘But on that off-chance, it was like, I’m gonna make sure that I’m the guy that I wanna be the day that I roll in there.’

When Knight first fell in love with wrestling, it was the larger than life characters that drew him in, and he was determined to realise his dream of becoming one on his stage.

‘My first exposure to wrestling was Hulk Hogan, watching him fight off the Heenan Family, Andre The Giant, Piper and all that stuff. For me, this was the place to be from day one,’ he explained, adding that others career stops have been preparing him for this.

‘Everywhere else to be was nice, but it was a job if I’m honest. but it was also a way for me to do what I love doing and make a living,’ he admitted. ‘But at the same time, it wasn’t the stage that I knew I wanted to be on, and that I knew I should be on.’

It comes to a head on July 1, with Knight stepping into his third ever Ladder Match, having faced Grado in IMPACT and beaten Cameron Grimes in one during their NXT days.

‘You remember what happened last time I was in a Ladder Match,’ he smirked. ‘So, to have that ability within my grasp to grab that contract, it’s pretty wild. It’s basically just confirmation that all these years were worth it.’
