Good Morning Britain presenter Laura Tobin was forced to tell a keen fan she was married after her broadcast on Wednesday was interrupted.

The 41-year-old was reporting live from a busy Stone Henge, chatting to Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley in the studio when a man appeared on camera looking for a chat, and to offer Laura some warmth.

‘There are lots of people very interested in Laura’s weather forecast,’ Susanna began.

‘How many new friends have you made this morning Laura?’ she joked, as Laura laughed it off, saying she’s met ‘a lot of interesting friends’.

Before she could even begin her weather report, she continued: ‘There’s a man who has brought a foil blanket to use as a reflector, that’s very helpful for you.’

A man then appeared on camera, with a foil blanket and wrapped it around her, after he assumed she’d be ‘cold’.

‘Thank you so much,’ she laughed, as he smiled at the camera.

‘That’s really helpful and kind of you,’ she added.

However, clearly not getting the hint that she was on air, he continued: ‘I really like your energy, you’re a really pretty lady, I just want to be part of the culture, and see the beauty, this energy, your entourage.’

‘She’s married,’ Susanna interrupted from the studio, as the man continued trying to woo Laura.

‘Yeah, I am married but that’s so kind of you,’ Laura added.

The visitor continued: ‘That’s very helpful to know, the very question, do you have a boyfriend or not? Because if you are taken, it’s okay, yeah sure we can enjoy other vibes, flirting.’

The man, who introduced himself as Mars, finally got the hint when Laura replied: ‘Shall I just get on telling people about Stone Henge?’

She carried on to the camera: ‘Basically the vibe here is very nice, there’s lots of very happy people, lots of energy.’

Laura is no stranger to awkward on-air blunders, as a recent edition of Good Morning Britain saw her appear on air with her hair rollers still in.

In between the news announcements, Laura appeared on camera in a field of daffodils, providing the weather update.

However, she didn’t quite realise the camera would be on her so soon.

As the camera panned around, just before the clip had begun, Laura could be heard whispering: ‘Just do a nice pan,’ as shuffling was heard on camera.

The clip then cut to daffodils, before appearing on Laura, who swiftly pulled a roller out of her hair.

‘Welcome back to Good Morning Britain,’ she began before the camera focused on her.

Pulling the roller out of her hair, she said: ‘I’ve just realised I’ve got my roller in! Take that out.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1.
