What a shock! (Picture: ITV/Shutterstock)

Love Island star Molly Marsh was informed on tonight’s episode that she had been dumped from the villa in a huge shocker.

The islanders were all left gasping and in a state of utter bewilderment when they found out that their pal had been told to pack her bags to leave the ITV2 show.

The turn of events came when bombshell Kady McDermott was tasked with stealing a boy to couple up with hours after returning to the programme seven years after her debut in the second series of the rebooted show.

After selecting Zachariah Noble, who Molly was coupled up with, Molly received a text.

But it wasn’t what she expected.

Rather than just read a message saying that she was single, Molly was told that she had been dumped and had to pack up all of her things immediately.

The episode ended before viewers could find out anything else… so perhaps it’ll turn out to be a bluff, and Molly will actually be staying on, with another bombshell waiting in the wings?

We’ll have to wait until Sunday to find out!

More to follow.
