Love Island fans were not impressed to see Sunday night’s episode confirm that Molly Marsh has been dumped – and Zachariah Noble seemingly move on pretty quickly with bombshell Kady McDermott.

Musical theatre star Molly, 21, was shockingly told to pack her bags on Friday night, after Kady was tasked with stealing a boy to couple up with.

After selecting Zachariah, 25, who Molly was coupled up with, Molly received a text saying that not only was she single, but that she had to leave the villa.

The episode initially ended on a cliffhanger, without Molly’s exit scenes being aired, but Sunday’s episode kicked off with her tearfully accepting her fate.

Kady, 27, who originally appeared on series two of Love Island in 2016, stood awkwardly off to the side and apologised to Molly as she packed her suitcase to leave – Kady pointed out she’d feel too bad to help her pack too.

After an emotional goodbye with the girls, and a final smooch with Zachariah, Molly was gone.

However, in her final address to the camera, Molly admitted she would be waiting for Zachariah outside the villa.

Zachariah though… didn’t appear to be on the same page, let’s say.

Immediately pulling Kady for a chat, it wasn’t long before he was admitting it was a ‘nice surprise’ that she had picked him.

He then said that part of him ‘wasn’t 100% closed off’ if he could be flattered by Kady’s attention, adding: ‘I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t 100% attracted to you.’ Hmm…

Although there had been theories Molly could return in a twist after a sighting at the airport, it seemed Zachariah’s attention was already elsewhere, with some viewers branding him ‘Zachaliar’.

‘Zachaliar is not sad at all about Molly leaving,’ tweeted one, while another predicted: ‘Zach is gonna forget about Molly in 3 business days.’

‘I don’t even think Zach is even that upset that Molly is gone,’ added a third while another fumed: ‘Sorry Molly was saying bye to Zach like she’s his girl and Zach was sad but he was looking at her like bye [sic].’

‘Zach’s unserious if he wanted molly like that he wouldn’t have told kady that he’s not closed off,’ one fan wrote.

Another shared: ‘Zach angers me so much, he claims to be closed off but then says it’s nice for kady to pick him and send molly packing!?’

Sunday’s episode included the return of the famous Heart Rate Challenge, which pitted the girls and boys against one another as they attempted to seduce their other halves and potential new love interests.

Love Island continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
