Glastonbury 2023 may have only just finished, but rumours are already swirling around who will headline Glastonbury 2024.

This year saw a wealth of stars flock to Worthy Farm, with Arctic Monkeys kicking us off by headlining on Friday.

Day 2 welcomed Guns N’ Roses to the Pyramid Stage, while Sir Elton John closed us out in epic style with his first headline slot at the festival on Sunday night.

While we don’t yet have confirmation of the 2024 line-up, speculation has begun, with Taylor Swift and Harry Styles just two of the big names fans are hoping will perform.

Let’s take a look at some of the rumoured headliners – if any of these are on the bill, we’ll be in for another cracking year.

Taylor Swift

Now, Miss Swift was due to play Glastonbury in 2020 with what we can only imagine would’ve been an incredible set on the closing night on the Pyramid Stage.

Alas, the pandemic so cruelly took that away from us.

But, as the US songstress has now announced dates for her UK Eras Tour in 2024, Swifties reckon she’s left a gap for one special reason.

EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit https://t.co/EYBevxhQzH for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!! pic.twitter.com/G8zx8QUUAV

The Anti-Hero hitmaker, 33, has kept both June 23 and June 30 free amidst her other European dates, which will see her perform in London, Liverpool, Dublin, Amsterdam, Hamberg, and Milan, to name just a few.

Fans quickly spotted this, so does that mean we’ll finally get Taylor on the Glasto stage? She is (overwhelmingly) the bookies’ favourite at 2/7.

Harry Styles

There were rumours of Harry Styles being one of Glastonbury 2023’s surprise performers, with people speculating up until the last minute that he could even have joined Sir Elton as a mystery guest.

But, the As It Was hitmaker, 29, is wrapping up his own Love On Tour shows in Europe, so was a no-show.

However, with Harry’s career only going from strength to strength and what with him selling out Wembley Stadium four times over this month, it’s not unreasonable to suggest him being a headliner next year.

The former One Direction star is due to take time off and, as he put it himself, ‘go away for a while’ following his long-running tour and success of his third album, Harry’s House.

Although, we’re sure there’ll be a lot of big conversations had during this break, whether that’s a fourth album or possible festivals for 2024.

Harry on the Pyramid Stage would go off, right?

William Hill also agrees, with his odds 3/1.

Spice Girls

We need a Spice Girls reunion already! (Picture: Shutterstock)

Let us dream, ok?

Melanie C played Glasto solo this year, but there are always whispers of a Spice Girls reunion.

The singer, 49, also gave us hope as she took to the stage on Saturday night on Avalon, telling BBC Radio 6 Music’s Matt Everitt that the group would accept an offer to play the legends slot.

‘All of the Spice Girls would like to play Glasto, that is the truth,’ she admitted.

‘Like I said to the audience [on Saturday night], doing a couple of Spice Girls songs, “A bit of a warm-up for next year?”

‘They’re rehearsed, they know the words, they’re ready,’ she added.

‘So, if I can drag the other girls along… I say “drag” the other girls along – all of the Spice Girls would like to play Glasto, that is the truth.’

Sporty Spice also said it would be ‘the ultimate’ for her to join Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton, and Mel B in the coveted headliner slot – so, what are they waiting for?

The 1975

According to The 1975 themselves, they’re still ‘at their very best.’

Despite continuing to sell out sizable venues around the world and having garnered more fans over recent years, Matty Healy and co. haven’t played Glastonbury since 2016.

They’ve been rumoured for the line-up almost every single year, so maybe 2024 could be the year they finally return? They do love a festival.

Reports from The Sun back in March said that a 2024 headline slot for the Robbers group was ‘pretty much a done deal’ and bookies’ odds are in their favour.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé is at the top of her game right now – although, when isn’t she?

Her Renaissance tour has gone down a storm and, while she rarely plays festivals, we can totally see her on the Glasto stage, especially as the bookies have their eye on her too.

Glastonbury is a special one, after all, and she’s made that clear in the past.

‘You are witnessing my dream,’ she told fans at Worthy Farm in 2011.

Come on, Bey, make it happen!

Dua Lipa

There is absolutely no denying that Dua Lipa, 27, has become one of the world’s biggest pop girlies over recent years, thanks to the release of her Future Nostalgia album.

We didn’t get our dose of Don’t Start Now or Levitating in 2020 or 2021 thanks to Covid, so we are in desperate need of Dua on the main stage.

She actually has played Glasto before, but not since 2017, when she performed in the new bands tent as an up-and-comer.

As a global, Grammy-winning superstar, we reckon she’s now overdue an upgrade.

And with a new album and era on the way, surely Glastonbury would be the perfect way to kick things off? …Even if she did leave us hanging by not showing up with Sir Elton this year.

Madonna

She’s about to begin a 40th-anniversary tour, so that doesn’t rule Madonna out from Glasto next year.

The Material Girl hitmaker ends her Celebration Tour in January 2024 in Mexico, but it looks likely to be extended later into the year.

With co-organiser Emily Eavis making a recent comment about booking two female headliners who’ve never played Worthy Farm before, Madonna fits the bill…

Rihanna

Rihanna anybody? Ok, but we can dream (Picture: Angela Weiss/AFP)

Maybe it’s a pipe dream, but we also never thought we’d get Rihanna out of music retirement to perform at the Super Bowl…

The Umbrella hitmaker, 35, wowed us all with a medley of her hits at the Halftime Show earlier this year, where she simultaneously revealed that she is pregnant with baby number two.

Now, her little arrival could rule her out of Glasto next year if she chooses to take a further step back out of the spotlight to focus on being a mum.

But, she’s forever teasing us with ‘R9’ and the possibility of new music being on the way.

Who would you like to see headline Glastonbury 2024?Comment Now

Plus, her Super Bowl performance proved she’s still got it!

Her bookies’ odds currently sit at 5/1 also.
