I’m plus-size with a fold over belly – I ordered a glam co-ord from H&M but I look like an aubergine

A WOMAN has urged fashion fans to never base their self-worth on their clothes size.

Tori Block, a plus-size fashionista, who has a self-proclaimed “fold over belly” explained that she varies massively in clothes sizes and while sometimes a certain size will fit, other times it will be far too tight.

A plus-size fashion fan has revealed that her size varies massively and as a result, wants to encourage women to stop basing their self-worth on their trouser sizeTikTok/torii.block

Tori Block took to TikTok to try on two pairs of H&M trousersTikTok/torii.block

While one pair fit perfectly, she described the others as making her look like an aubergineTikTok/torii.block

Posting on TikTok, Tori regularly shares style tips and outfit inspiration clips, whilst encouraging women to love their bodies, regardless of their shape or size.

In a recent clip, the size 16 H&M fan modelled two pairs of trousers from the high-street chain, showing the huge difference in the fit.

Not only this, but she also paired her purple trousers with the matching top, and described herself as looking like an aubergine.

She said: “Proof why you shouldn’t base your worth off of a size.

“I’m going to give you a prime example of why you cannot base your self-worth off of a size.

“I range from a 14, 16, 18.”

Seconds later, she tried on a pair of purple trousers, which were far too tight and would not zip up, as she continued: “This is a 16 in H&M’s pants.”

Shen then switched to a pale green pair, which fit her perfectly, as she added: “And this is a size 16 in the same exact brand. Like what?”

Shortly after, the fashionista put the purple trousers back on, with a matching purple top.

But unfortunately, the brunette beauty was not pleased, as she noted: “Just a little something to keep in mind next time you wanna look like an eggplant.”

Tori’s clip has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 64,900 views.

It has 3,404 likes, 25 comments, 67 saves and 22 shares.

Many social media users could relate to Tori and were eager to express this and thank her for her honesty in the comments.

One person said: “I needed to hear that.”

Another added: “I love you! Thank you for posting. You are hysterical! Go girl you are gorgeous”

A third commented: “Omgggg I thought I was the only one! I legit found two different styles of pants, same size, at H&M, one fit and one didn’t…. I was SO confused lol.”

Whilst someone else noted: “I could be a 12-16, who knows anymore it’s so frustrating!”
