Style fan claims she’s found the ‘perfect wedding guest dress’ but people think it looks no better than a posh bedsheet
A FASHIONISTA has been brutally slammed after insisting she’s found the ideal dress to attend a wedding in.
Style enthusiast Ali, from the US, was savaged on Reddit after sharing a snap of a cream maxi dress she believed was suitable for wearing to a wedding.

However, she was soon slammed – and the frock was compared to a posh hotel bedsheetReddit
Mum-of-three took to Instagram to post the image of her rocking the white garment after a follower had asked for inspiration and was ”over it”.
Posing with the low V-neck maxi dress with horizontal stripe detailing and flowy sleeves, the stylish parent said: ”Okay also this dress is STUNNING.
”Photo can’t even do it justice, It comes in several colours.”
The champagne colour, she added, would also make for the ”perfect” bridesmaid dress.
Obsessed with the outfit, Ali went on: ”I love love love this and I’m so glad I could finally try it on.”
But whilst the fashionista may have deemed it to be the ideal outfit for a wedding guest, people online were of a totally different opinion.
One mortified user took to Reddit to share a screenshot of the Instagram story, which soon went viral for all the wrong reasons.
”Recommending a white dress as a wedding GUEST dress…classic,” Redditor @schrutebedandb said in their post.
However, it wasn’t only the colour that many reckoned would cause issues – the design of the clothing was also an utter fail, in their eyes.
A fellow Reddit user joked: ”This looks like a bed sheet!”

Another agreed, writing: ”I literally have bed sheets just like this in tan and green.”
Someone else, meanwhile, thought the garment was far too long for the fashionista.
”Does she plan to wear 9 inch heals with it?”

”That it’s 7 inches too long, not flattering, or looks like my grandmother’s curtains?”
