I’m a plus-size fashionista… mean trolls say my clothes look like bedsheets but I am confident in my own skin

A MEMBER of the plus-size community has hit back at her trolls, insisting there is no reason she shouldn’t be this confident.

Body positivity influencer Jaimie Weisberg took to TikTok to share the response after meanies accussed her of wearing bedsheets.

After being trolled, the plus-size fashion fan uploaded a clip hitting back at the meaniesTiktok – @jaimie.weisberg

The unpleasant incident happened after Jaimie, who plans on wearing her favourite swimwear out and about, shared a video of her outfit.

The comfy look in question was a comfy figure-hugging maxi dress with a flowy bottom, which Jaimie had styled with white sandals and a pearl headband.

The black sleeveless garment also came in with an in-built belt and as always, the plus-size fashionista was wearing her signature red glasses.

But whilst Jaimie may have been pleased with the look, mean trolls on social media thought otherwise, racing to comments to share their thoughts.

One meanie, for instance, compared the comfortable summery dress to bedding.

”Give me back my bed sheets,” the troll demanded.

Another deemed it necessary to write: ”My eyes hurt.”

”You are so big,” someone else commented on Jaimie’s body.

”Go to the Gym fast,” a fourth penned.

However, there was also heaps of support – and the rising TikTok star, too, had a message for her trolls.

Sharing some of her best outfits, Jaimie, who posts under the username @jaimie.weisberg, said there was no reason for her not to be oozing with confidence.

”Let me ask you this – why shouldn’t I be confident? Why am I not allowed to be happy in my own skin?

”Why am I not allowed to give myself permission to be who I am exactly where I am at this moment?” she said in the uplifting video.

Jaimie added that listening to what others think and their definition of what it means to be happy left her with the opposite emotions.

”It made me sad and it made me manipulate my appearance for so many years.

”When I came to terms with, it wasn’t even a choice – cause I don’t think I would be here anymore if it was.

”I have to make a choice to live unapologetically to myself exactly as I am.

”Yeah, I don’t always feel like that – but I can tell you I feel a lot better than listening to other people’s idea of what it means to be confident.”
