Savvy shopper Elisha-Rose Jones was left thrilled when shopping in her local JD Sports, in Telford, when she spotted the reduced buy.

The fashion fan proudly took to Facebook to show off her cut-price purchase, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting in the social media group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper attached an image of her new buy – a pair of white and pink Adidas gazelle trainers.

Elisha-Rose said: “My first proper bargain.

“Always worth popping in JD.

“There was a rack of shoes by the till.”

Once priced at £43, Elisha-Rose was lucky enough to snap up the trainers for just £3, saving herself a whopping £40.

Elisha-Rose later added: “There was a bit of a black mark on the one shoe which rubbed off with a wet cloth!”

The bargain hunter shared her post just nine hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 1,300 likes and 113 comments.

Social media users were stunned at the epic reduction and were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Love these.”

Another added: “Brilliant, that’s what I call a bargain.”

A third commented: “Proper bargain!”

Whilst someone else chimed in: “Blimey that is a true deal well done.”

At the same time, many shoppers were desperate to get their hands on these cheap trainers.

One shopper claimed: “Need some of these.”

A second tagged a friend and noted: “We should go to JD more often.”

Whilst someone else shared: “Running to JD.”

Facebook users were gobsmacked at the reduction, so much so that one Facebook user claimed: “It’s because they are odd sizes, although I did buy a pair a while ago for £15.”

However, to this, Elisha-Rose responded: “They’re most definitely not odd sizes, they just had a black mark which rubbed off with a wet cloth.”
