Taylor Swift’s UK fanbase is preparing to join the battle for tickets for her Eras tour, amid the news that it’ll be coming to the UK in 2024.

The chart-topping icon has been delighting fans with a three-hour show each night, taking them on a trip down memory lane with songs from all 10 of her albums -not to mention a string of costume changes and seriously spectacular set designs.

Expect the fight for tickets to be fierce – and it’s already started, with Swifties having to register their interest first if they want any chance of getting in to a UK date.

The registration period for this is now closed, but those who did register by the deadline should receive an email from Ticketmaster with more information on purchasing tickets, according to Taylor’s official tour website.

But when should you expect to receive this – and what happens if you don’t?

When should you receive your Taylor Swift email from Ticketmaster?

According to Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift tour page, everyone who registered will receive an email on Wednesday July 5 with more information about purchasing tickets.

The site says that details of when tickets will go on sale will be contained in this email.

It will also let you know whether you have been lucky enough to receive an ‘on-sale access code’ – which will give you the chance to buy tickets for the date of your choice – or whether you have been placed on a waiting list for this.

If you have been selected for an access code you won’t receive it yet, as Ticketmaster explains: ‘If you are selected to receive an access code, you will receive an email the afternoon before the ticket sales begin per the schedule above.’

‘This email will include timing details and a link to where the on-sale will occur, and your unique, non-transferrable access code.’

The code is non-transferable and can only be used to buy a maximum of four tickets for the date of your choice.

If you are moved off the waiting list – if more tickets become available or if extra dates are added, for example – you will receive an email with the access code when this happens – and it could be at any time, even after tickets have gone on sale.
