Brad Pitt was spotted filming his new F1 movie, Apex, at Silverstone racecourse on Thursday.

The 59-year-old looked seriously suave in a blue jacket and shades as he made his way around the iconic British track.

Most excitingly, new photos reveal the car Brad will be driving in the Lewis Hamilton-produced flick.

In the movie, Brad – whose character is called Sonny Hayes – will drive for a fictional racing team called Apex and a garage had been constructed for the team.

It’s thought Apex, directed by Joseph Kosinski, will continue filming for the rest of 2023’s F1 season.

The film, which is helmed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joe, is set to come to Apple TV+ in the near future.

Not much is known about the story in general, although Babylon star Brad is understood to be playing a veteran F1 driver, who comes out of retirement to mentor a young talent and take a last stab at glory as his teammate.

Lewis, who recently celebrated 10 years racing with Mercedes, was also involved with the casting process alongside Joe and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

According to Deadline, Snowfall actor Damson Idris has recently been tapped to co-star opposite Brad.

It is well-known that the Ocean’s 11 actor has a keen interest in racing and has been spotted at several Grand Prix in the past.

In October it was suggested he outstayed his welcome on a visit to the Aston Martin Garage at the United States Grand Prix.

After swerving commentator Martin Brundle, who was trying to flag him down for a quick chat in a moment that went viral, Brad was accused of making the team ‘stressed’ when he dropped by for a lengthy visit.

Team principal Mike Krack admitted to Motorsport Magazine: ‘They were with us for a very long time, much longer than expected. To be honest, it even messed up our schedule. We were a bit stressed then.’

However, he insisted Aston Martin is still throwing its support behind the film and added: ‘We will support the project as best we can and see how involved we are. Team owner Lawrence Stroll was also involved.’
