Robert De Niro’s partner Tiffany Chen suffered ‘complications’ after giving birth to their child in April, she has revealed.
The couple welcomed daughter Gia, three months, earlier this year, with movie star Robert becoming a father again at the age of 79.
He has six other children from previous relationships: Drena, 51, Raphael, 56, twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, Elliot, 24, and 11-year-old Helen.
Tiffany is now preparing to speak out about suffering complications after giving birth to baby Gia, in her first interview since welcoming their daughter.
According to CBS Mornings, the martial arts instructor has taken part in an interview with Gayle King, where she reveals she suffered ‘a postpartum complication’ after the birth.
The chat is to be aired on the channel on Thursday with the full interview coming on Friday.
Robert recently revealed that his older children have not yet met his new arrival, ‘but they will.’

The Taxi Driver star introduced his daughter to the world on CBS in May, where he revealed the tot’s full name and as he showed off a photo of her.
He said baby Gia was ‘planned’ and ‘brought here by love.’
The family have recently been rocked by devastating grief after Robert’s grandson, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, at the age of 19. He was the son of Robert’s eldest daughter Drena.
As the news broke, the actor said in a statement to Metro.co.uk: ‘Im deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo.
‘We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.’
