Katie Price’s eldest child, Harvey Price, has officially set the world record for the longest drawing of a train.

It took 21-year-old Harvey four weeks to create the 21.3 metre-long picture and the drawing is of his favourite train – the Gatwick Express.

To set the record, Harvey – who has autism, Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia and a learning disability – had to ensure his drawing topped 20 metres.

He started the challenge last month during Mencap’s Learning Disability Week and certainly proved he’s one of the keenest train enthusiasts going.

Guinness World Records visited Harvey at the National Star College near Cheltenham, where he lives, and unrolled the enormous train picture to measure it in the school’s courtyard.

Once measurements had been taken and it was confirmed that Harvey had in fact set a record, he was handed his certificate in front of his incredibly proud mum, not to mention his friends and teachers.

Katie, 45, raved: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled for Harvey. I can’t believe he’s got his own Guinness World Record. It’s fantastic.’

She went on: ‘He’s worked so hard on completing his drawing and I think he’s done amazingly well.

‘We officially have a Guinness World Record holder in the family and everyone is so happy for him.’

Meanwhile, Harvey’s art tutor Louise Adams added: ‘Harvey worked incredibly hard on this 21-metre train.

‘It was a very physical challenge but Harvey demonstrated what a focused young man he is with an impeccable knowledge of trains.’

Louise also noted: ‘We are very proud of Harvey for what he has achieved throughout this challenge.’

The record was achieved under the Guinness World Records impairments initiative, which has been developed alongside Mencap.

The initiative allows reasonable adjustments to be made for record bids to better include people with learning disabilities.

As Alison Pike from Mencap explained: ‘Harvey is continuing to bust myths and preconceptions about what it means to live life with a learning disability, and we are delighted that his passion for trains has led to him being a world record breaker.’

Way to go, Harvey!
