One savvy shopper, Karrmella Cobb, proudly took to Facebook to show off her epic purchases, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting in the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper shared a snap of her cheap Poundland T-shirt.

She confirmed that it was only £3, so she bought five of them.

Karrmella explained that the oversized T-shirt works great as sleepwear and beachwear, as well as everyday wear too.

She said: “Just picked up this men’s T-shirt in XL.

“£3 in Poundland.

“Makes a great shirt, dress, perfect for sleep, beach and everyday!

“I picked up five!!! For £16 winner!!! (Ooops just realised it was £15 not £16, I forgot I also got a bag for life.)”

Karrmella then posted another two pictures of her new T-shirts, one in black and another in a pale blue colour.

Karrmella shared her post just 21 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 450 likes and 108 comments.

Social media users were stunned at Karrmella’s cheap finds and many were eager to reflect this in the comments.

One person said: “Swear mens T-shirts are just so much more comfier than ladies’.”

Another added: “What a fab idea!”

A third commented: “I think it’s a bargain! Couldn’t even get a nighty in Primark for that!!”

Whilst someone else noted: “This would be great for the gym.”

At the same time, one shopper explained: “I buy these to wear with leggings as they are long and cover your bum…they are so comfy and cheap.”

However, many men were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts on women buying men’s clothing.

One man shared: “Meanwhile a bunch of overweight blokes are struggling to find clothes from a limited selection of suppliers because, even though women have a ton of options, they’re rushing out to buy up all the cheap plus size men’s T-shirts to wear to bed.”

Whilst another agreed: “That’s why I can never find any T-shirts then.”
