Wimbledon doesn’t only attract tennis fans but celebrities and members of the royal family, which can lead to some interesting interactions.
This year viewers went wild over Lewis Capaldi and Emma Watson giggling together while Ariana Grande showed off her friendship with Jonathan Bailey.
The final day at Wimbledon hosted too many celebrities to count, including husband and wife duo Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, looking effortlessly stylish.
Married since 2011, the couple watched the final showdown between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz from the royal box.
Rising star Carlos took home the trophy in the men’s singles but 007 and the Marvel actress got a different prize – the chance to chat with the Princess of Wales.
Kate Middleton stopped by to chat with the actors but a royal expert has suggested that Daniel and Rachel snubbed her.

Royal commentator, Richard Eden, shared a photo where Kate stands in the royal box speaking to the pair, who remain seated.
‘This photograph makes me uneasy,’ he wrote. ‘While there may not have been space for Rachel Weisz to curtsy or Daniel Craig to bow, shouldn’t they have at least stood up to greet the Princess of Wales?’
‘Craig could have even gone mad and removed his sunglasses.’
As Princess of Wales and the next Queen Consort, we assume it is the protocol for those meeting Kate to curtsey or bow before her.
However, according to the Royal website, there is actually no obligatory code of conduct when meeting a royal outside of ceremonial events.
‘There are no obligatory codes of behaviour when meeting The Queen or a member of the Royal Family, but many people wish to observe the traditional forms,’ reads the website which hasn’t been updated to reflect the new King.
‘For men this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small curtsy. Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way.’

Some commenters on the post agreed with Richard that they should have stood up but others disagreed.
‘Still photography can be deceptive, we don’t know what happened before. PoW is a class act and seems to enjoy their talk. Why are you trying to create something out of nothing?’ said one person.
Another added: ‘Oh please Richard, stop being ridiculous, always trying to create drama.’
‘They shook her hand, had a conversation and they were smiling. They seemed to be nice to each other and that’s all that matters. There is no need for this drama,’ a third added.
Others said it simply showed how ‘sweet’ Kate was and how she ‘doesn’t really care about people bowing down to her.’
Metro has contacted Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig’s reps for comment.
