Cleaning whizz sparks fierce debate as she reveals how often you should wash your bras – so whose side are you on?

A CLEANING guru has left social media users divided after revealing how often you should really be washing clothes – so what do YOU think?

When it comes to doing laundry, some people wash their clothing after every wear and others – when the clothes have a sweaty aroma to them.

But now, a cleaning whizz by the name Caroline has enlightened us all, revealing the number of wears required for each bit of clothing before it needs washing.

Caroline, from New York, the US, took to TikTok, where she insisted that bras can be worn up to three times and after that you need to give them a wash.

What about comfy PJs that keep you toasty when you sleep?

Well, according to Caroline’s video, you should be washing them ”every few days”.

The only exception, she added, is for those who tend to sweat a lot during night.

Jeans, meanwhile, require less washing, as Caroline said you can style them around five to ten times – after this, the denim bottoms need chucking in the washing machine.

When it comes to T-shirts, the TikTok cleaning sensation instructed her 235k followers on the platform to wash them after every or every other wear.

In terms of towels, Caroline reckoned that every few days should be okay – if not, then once a week should be the bare mininum.

Bedding, too, needs to be thrown in for a wash once a week – this, she said, will ”kill all the germs and bacteria”.

However, whilst Caroline may swear by this washing routine, people on social media were divided and many disagreed with her.

One shared their habits, writing: ”If it smells fine, I’ll wear it again.”

Someone else chimed in, revealing their laundry routine is based on the season.

”summer = 1 wear winter = 2 wears.”

”Jeans… NEVER, and the CEO of Levi’s agrees,” a fashion fan hit back.

”I can’t, I have to wear clean clothes everyday,” another person wrote.
