WWE superstar Kevin Owens is reportedly dealing with a legitimate injury.

The 39-year-old wrestler, who is currently one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions with longtime friend Sami Zayn, was taken out by The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw and it appears there could be a good reason for it.

During this week’s episode, Judgment Day dominated as Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest and Finn Balor took out several big names.

The group had their issues with Kevin and Sami, with everyone trading verbal jabs at the start of the evening, leading to Rhea accepting a challenge for ‘Dirty’ Dom to defend his NXT North American Title against Sami.

Midway through the match, the referee booted KO, Rhea and Priest from ringside after plenty of interference, but there was another twist to come.

Towards the end, the Judgment Day duo dragged the limp body of Kevin out onto the stage, having attacked him behind the scenes, which distracted Sami enough for Dom to roll him up for the ring.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has since reported that KO has suffered a legitimate injury, although the extent of it – and if he’ll have to miss any time – is unknown at the moment.

With SummerSlam is less than two weeks away, Kevin and Sami aren’t yet scheduled for a match, so it could be that the card remains unaffected regardless of his current situation.

Elsewhere on the show, Liv Morgan was destroyed by Rhea before their scheduled match could get underway and got laid out with a steel chair adding to the brutal beatdown, and it’s said that was also done to explain a real life injury.

Meanwhile, the contract signing between Balor and Seth Rollins at the end of the night ended in chaos as the World Heavyweight Champion was laid out by the entirety of the Judgment Day.

Sami Zayn did attempt to save the day, but he wasn’t able to turn the odds in the champ’s favour.
