Ariana Grande has been slated by Ethan Slater’s estranged wife amid rumors of their budding romance.

The Save Your Tears singer, 30, is reportedly dating her Wicked co-star, following her split from her husband, Dalton Gomez.

It was reported that the Spongebob SquarePants actor filed for divorce from wife Lilly Jay this week, bringing their four-year marriage to an end.

Although he has not spoken publicly about their separation, Lilly – who gave birth to their son last August – insisted that her only focus is taking care of their child.

‘[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,’ she told Page Six. ‘My family is just collateral damage.’

Speaking to DailyMail.com, she added: ‘I am focused on rebuilding a life for our son and rebuilding a life for him.

‘This is what I am trying to do and this is my only focus.’ 

The former couple were together for 10 years and got married in 2018, with Lilly welcoming their first child last summer.

Ethan relocated to London last December to film Wicked with Ariana – who was still married to Dalton.

Pictures recently emerged of the pair looking close on set, while other photos showed them looking cozy at a cast dinner.

The Scream Queens actress reportedly spent time with the exes during filming, and even liked Ethan’s Instagram dedications to Lilly on social media.

According to Us Weekly, the dad-of-one informed his estranged partner of his new relationship days before things became public knowledge.

‘Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce,’ an insider claimed.

However, a conflicting source added that Ariana and Ethan ‘were separated when they started dating and the relationship is recent’.

It has been claimed that the new mom was left heartbroken that her family has been torn apart.

She is thought to believe that her ex turned his back on his family for the romance – which reportedly started ‘several months ago’.

Ariana has not addressed the reports, while Ethan has since made his Instagram account private.
