Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘are losing more celebrity friends, including the Beckhams and Clooneys’-Lucy Norris-Entertainment – Metro

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have lost the favour of more Hollywood A-listers following the emergence of story leaking accusations.

David Beckham and his wife Victoria – who attended the royal couple’s wedding – are reportedly ‘absolutely furious’ after Prince Harry and Meghan suggested they shared details with the press.

The former footballer remained close friends with the 38-year-old for a number of year however recent reports claimed they were at logger heads over suspicions the sportsman was sharing titbits about the Sussexes.

Their dispute was suggested by a source who told The Mail On Sunday: ‘David and Victoria went to Meghan and Harry’s wedding and were very supportive when Meghan arrived in the UK.

‘Any making up now is so unlikely.’

According to GB News, in 2020, a source told The Sun: ‘Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified.

‘Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it.

‘Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David.

‘He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on — but it certainly made things awkward for a while.’

The Beckhams weren’t the only famous couple added to the list of new foes as George Clooney and Amal Clooney were also said to be on the outs with the royals.

Sources claimed the actor’s bond with the former Suits star came to a halt after her marriage to the prince in 2018.

The claims came after George and Amal ceased their visits to Meghan and Harry’s Los Angeles home and seemingly are now ‘more linked to King Charles’, having attended the Prince’s Trust event in London last May.

George sparked more feud rumours after he replied, ‘I don’t’, to questions asking him whether he knew the mother-of-two – despite the Mail reporting he attended the Windsor Chapel wedding of the pair.

The Beckhams and Clooneys’ cooling off period added their names to a line-upo of supposed Hollywood snubs as the couple are said to have fallen out with filmmaker Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.

Harry and Meghan raised eyebrows when they were reportedly left off the guestlist to the TV host’s star-studded 69th birthday bash.

The Mirror reported that Journalist Paula Froelich told The Express US the ‘big power players’ in Tinsel Town were ‘deliberately keeping their distance’ from the couple so as not to upset the Prince and Princess of Wales – William and Kate.
