My ‘pocket tie’ styling hack means you can make any baggy dress hug your curves and flatter your figure in an instant

A STYLIST has shared her genius hack to turn any baggy dress into a more flattering one in seconds.

Camellia was joined by a client who was modelling a midi dress which had very little shape to it.

Stylist Camellia has explained how to turn any baggy dress into a more flattering onetiktok/@camelliajade

She began by pulling the pockets out on the dresstiktok/@camelliajade/

She then pulls the pockets to the front and ties them in a double knottiktok/@camelliajade

The woman was so impressed with the transformation that she said it looked like a different dresstiktok/@camelliajade

And, as the woman had a lovely, hourglass figure, Camellia wanted to highlight that, rather than disguise it.

“I’m going to show you my little pocket trick so we can still wear comfortable dresses like this but they won’t look quite as drapey,” she said.

“So I want you to pull the pockets out of your dress.

“And what you’re going to do is kind of shimmy it up to your waist a little bit, and then pull the pockets in front and just tie a double knot.

“And then look at that! It’s super simple.”

Clearly stunned by the transformation, the woman replied: “Holy cow, it looks like a different dress!”

“The key to looking your best is finding clothes that accentuate your best assets,” Camellia wrote over the top of the video.

And she added in the caption: “Love this easy pocket hack!”

Loads of people in the comments were equally enamoured with the easy hack, with one writing: “The way my jaw dropped!!”

“Great idea,” another added.

As a third commented: “Now that’s brilliant”.

“That is such a good tip,” someone else praised.

While another wrote: “Omg what a tip pockets as a belt LOVE IT”.

But not everyone was convinced by the hack, and used the comments to say as much.

“I would never! pockets I can’t use….NOOOOOOO,” one wrote.

“I think it would just be best to buy a smaller size lol,” another added.

“Liked it better before. Think comfort! And what does it look like from the back?” a third wondered.

As another insisted: “But I want POCKETS!”
