Heartbroken Love Island winner admits turning down Margot Robbie was ‘worst decision of my life’-Adam Miller-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island winner Greg O’Shea turned down a huge opportunity with Margot Robbie and of course lived to regret it.

Greg, 28, won Love Island in 2019 with Amber Gill, 26, and superfan Margot Robbie, 33, was among the millions who watched their brief but £50,000 prize-worthy journey.

Later that very summer, Margot – who once even threw herself a Love Island themed birthday party – invited some of the islanders to the London premiere of her movie Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn.

After mixing with the likes of Lucie Donlan and Michael Griffiths, the Oscar nominee then invited them all back to her place for an after party.

Greg, however, did not party with Margot because for some inexplicable reason he turned her down.

Greg’s Love Island co-star Chris Taylor also went to the bash and subsequently even bagged himself a small part in the Barbie movie.

Both islanders appeared on The Six O’Clock Show, with Chris recalling how he landed the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role

‘It all started at the (Harley Quinn) Birds of Prey premiere, which actually I didn’t even go to. And I know you were invited to it but you decided to not go,’ he said.

‘The worst decision of my life,’ Greg admitted.

While Greg was left to contemplate about his big mistake, Chris continued: ‘But anyway, Margot got a message to the boys that went to the premiere to say, “Come to the afterparty.”

‘I was in bed, I got up with the boys and we all went to the afterparty and Margot was there.

‘She knew who we all were which was bizarre, she kind of came over and gave us all hugs and that which was bizarre. The after-party finished and she said to us, “Do you want to come to the after-afterparty?”‘

Understandably, Greg was ‘absolutely seething at this point’.

Chris was among several Love Island stars invited to the Barbie red carpet in July, with last year’s winner Ekin-su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti bumping into each other weeks after the split with a video of her giving him the death stare surfacing online.
