Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah has opened up about her eating disorder journey.

Sharing a powerful post on Tuesday, the 29-year-old uploaded a photo of herself before recovery and two during.

Tallulah’s 392,000 Instagram followers were quick to applaud her and shower her with love and praise.

Tallulah – who is one of the three daughters 68-year-old Bruce shares with his ex Demi Moore – made sure to include a trigger warning alongside the photos.

She wrote: ‘TW [trigger warning]: ED [eating disorder] pre-recovery image. I love her. And I love her, and I see how courageous she’s been. Steady on the course my bbs.’

The first photo was a selfie in which Tallulah flashed a glimpse of her stomach, while the second showed a screengrab of a text message exchange Tallulah had with loved ones.

Alongside the texts was a photo showing Tallulah’s healthier physique as she recovered.

The third and final photo in her carousal showed a plate of healthy fruit.

Her post comes weeks after she spoke about battling an eating disorder in a Vogue article.

It didn’t take long for kind comments to pile up beneath the actress’ photos, with one person saying: ‘This is so important. Thank you for being honest and real with this topic. Means a lot for the ED support network to know there is help. Our loved ones can truly have a full life in recovery.’

‘Your story is important. Thank you for sharing it,’ wrote someone else.

Another added: ‘You are light and joy, and we need you in the world. Forever proud.’

Other messages included: ‘You are a goddess and an inspiration – keep f*****g going, queen’ and ‘Love this, love you.’

Tallulah’s powerful post comes after she spoke frankly about her famous father’s home life following his dementia diagnosis.

The Die Hard star is battling with frontotemporal dementia according to his family’s announcement earlier this year, which also outlined that he would be ‘stepping away’ from his successful career.

Updating fans on the A-lister’s condition, Tallulah explained that he was still able to recognise her when she visited.

She opened up to Vogue magazine and shared details about her dad and his condition as it progressed.

She revealed: ‘These days, my dad can be reliably found on the first floor of the house, somewhere in the big open plan of the kitchen-dining-living room, or in his office. Thankfully, dementia has not affected his mobility.

‘That office has always been a kind of window into what he’s most interested in at any given moment.

‘Recently I found a scrap of paper there on which he had written, simply, “Michael Jordan.” I wish I knew what he was thinking.’

She also added that the star’s room always had music blasting from it and that it was filled with things he had collected over the years.
