A FASHION whizz has revealed the three high street trends that will downgrade your appearance in seconds – and which buys to opt for instead.
The fashion world is bursting with stylish trends – but as tempting as it may be to keep up with them, one expert has insisted that some looks scream tacky – and should be avoided at all costs.

Taking to TikTok, the guru, Żaneta Krol, from Poland, revealed how you can instantly appear more chic by ditching certain high street buys.
The first key element in your outfit is the bag you’re carrying – and here, the pro said in the video, there’s one she reckoned was total ”bull***t”.
Although the viral padded Guess bag with a silver chain used to be all the rage a few years ago, the style expert thought of it as tacky-looking.
Instead, when shopping, treat yourself to a more timeless design that will never go out of style, such as a simple tote bag in brown.
The same applies for belts and other accessories – Żaneta advised to purchase more simple trends complete with classy gold elements.
But be careful to not go overboard, such as bold logos printed all over had also made it on the ”bull***t” pile.
In terms of footwear, the fashion expert urged to steer clear of the on-trend Nike trainers known for their chunky soles.
Despite being loved by many celebrities and influencers, Żaneta insisted they’re anything but elegant.
A great alternative was once again a more simple design – a pair of basic white trainers, with Polo Ralph Lauren offering a number of great options, she added.
But whilst Żaneta may follow this when replenishing her wardrobe, it seems that not everyone will be taking her tips on board.
