She then launched directly into the point of her clip as she shared a photo of a woman wearing skinny blue jeans with an oversized white T-shirt that featured a long neck.

The blonde beauty warned viewers to avoid wearing these types of tops that have “no structure” to them and a lot of excess fabric.

Instead, Natalie said people should opt for T-shirts that have a higher crew neck, have longer sleeves and are made out of pure cotton.

“You want them to offer more structure even if you’re going for the oversized look,” she said.

Natalia then moved onto the second fashion faux pas she’s not a fan of as she said: “Skinny jeans that are skin tight and stretchy are a big no no.”

“They’re so unflattering and cheapen any outfit, especially when you add this distressing,” she continued, referring to the rips in jeans.

She said that instead you should be going for straight cut jeans, which will create the illusion of having longer, leaner legs.

“You want to look for jeans that are made out of pure cotton,” she continued. “You want the hem to end right at the ankle.”

Natalie added that while you still want them to be form-fitting, they shouldn’t be overly tight.

And finally, the fashion expert said you should stay away from buying any clothing that comes “pre-scrunched, pre-folded, pre-knotted”.

She said this is a rule that’s especially true when looking at tops with a knot at the front as it “cheapens any outfit”.

Instead, you should opt for classic cuts that will look good with anything.

“That way you’ll have the flexibility to wear them to your liking,” she said. “You can tuck them or cuff them or fold them.

“And you’re not tied to any specific style.”

In the caption, TikTok user @nataliadenise added: “Elevate your style with simple changes!”

People were quick to comment on the post as many were left divided by her assessment.

One person wrote: “I give up on straight jeans. Not all of us are tall and lean.”

Another shared: “Disagree about the skinny jeans. They are way more flattering than the wide leg in these pictures.”

A third said: “Maybe I wanna look cheap and tacky,” to which she replied: “So then this video isn’t for you! Not everything is meant for everyone.”

While a fourth posted: “Hmm it’s all in the eye of the beholder! Those women in skinny jeans look fantastic and NOT cheap at all”.

Natalia replied: “It’s all about quality of the fabric and fit!”

But others thought she was more right than wrong as one person said: “This video is basically teaching us going into our 30s how to dress! Thank u!”

Another said: “This video should be required for all millennials to watch,” followed by a crying with laughter emoji and a clapping hands emoji.

While a third added: “I love all of these tips and I’ll keep them in mind!!!” with a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, a stylist has revealed the fashion mistakes that make women look years older.

And these are the 9 mistakes women make which instantly age them.
