Jonnie Irwin shares new update after ‘incredible’ family holiday amid terminal diagnosis-Meghna Amin-Entertainment – Metro

Jonnie Irwin is on the move again after returning from his family holiday.

The former A Place In The Sun presenter, 49, has been keeping fans updated after revealing he was receiving palliative care amid his cancer diagnosis.

Dad-of-three Jonnie announced in November 2022 that he could have ‘months to live’ after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, with the disease having spread from his lungs to his brain.

He recently enjoyed a trip to Beadnell, Northumberland, with his wife Jessica Holmes and their sons Rex, four, and two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac, before giving a peak inside their trip to a wildlife park in Yorkshire, where his boys were thrilled to meet a dinosaur.

However, he’s now back on the road, sharing an Instagram story of his train passing over a bridge.

Admiring the scenic river view, Jonnie wrote: ‘On the road again…’

This comes after Jonnie wrapped up a new filming project last month.

Jonnie re-shared a clip from Mayfair Worktops showing him in a kitchen with two co-stars and a camera production team, with the video captioned: ‘Behind the scenes with @jonnieirwintv.’

He later shared an update which appears to be taken on the same day.

In it, he jokes: ‘I better get to the off-licence!’

The clip was cheekily captioned: ‘When it’s a wrap on a Friday.’

Earlier this week, Jonnie shared some adorable family snaps with a cute tour around the wildlife park in Yorkshire.

Jonnie had said back in June that he had not told his children that he only has been given months to live to avoid confusing them.

He’s since shared lots of pictures and videos of the family fun at the park, which they spent two days exploring along with a message to the staff.

‘Just back from an incredible couple of days at @yorkshirewildlifepark,’ he wrote.

The presenter continued: ‘Really well thought out for families with the animals, ranger talks, live shows and on site accom. I’d definitely recommend the trip for families as it was one of the most fun weekends we’ve done and the boys were constantly engaged.

‘Lots of space. Top marks to all the staff and @wildlife_fdn who create a great experience for everyone. We’ll be back!’
