Everyone has a different way of preparing for Strictly Come Dancing’s intensive routines, with some even getting lessons from previous contestants.

While he may have his yet-to-be-revealed professional partner to teach him the routines, Bobby Brazier has been getting secret extra lessons.

The Eastenders star is a favourite to win the new season, coming in autumn, along with Love Island’s Zara McDermott, 26.

Bobby, 20, is the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody and a regular on Albert’s Square since last year.

While his dance skills are yet to be proven, apparently the rising star is already getting sneaky lessons from co-star Molly Rainford.

The 22-year-old appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year and finished in sixth with professional Carlos Gu.

‘I had no idea Bobby was going for Strictly but when I found out, straight away I was showing him the frame,’ she told The Mirror.

Molly plays Anna Knight on the show and works closely with Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater – a very messy romantic entanglement.

She continued: ‘I joked to him, “How about we practise together and then you say I taught you everything you know”. So that’s what’s happening – though of course his pro partner may say different.

‘My advice to him was just to enjoy it and take it all in, and to expect it to be tougher than you thought.’

The former Britain’s Got Talent star even found love on the show in a twist on the Strictly Curse – falling for fellow contestant and DJ Tyler West, 27.

According to The Sun, Bobby has been warned not to follow this same route and keep it professional.

A source close to the actor said: ’But he has to remain focused because, as Strictly has proved in the past, it’s very easy for competitors to have their head turned.

‘His nearest and dearest just don’t want to see him unintentionally waste the chance of a lifetime by temptations on the show.’

Bobby was spotted in June with supposed girlfriend Mia Mon, a Twitch streamer, at the Taste Of London event in Regents Park but it’s not known if the pair are together still.

Strictly Come Dancing comes to BBC One and iPlayer this autumn.
