Rylan Clark has shared a photo of his mum Linda smiling as she rests up in hospital as he thanked fans for all their messages of support.

The TV presenter, 34, said he was ‘praying’ for mum Linda on Friday after the 71-year-old was hospitalised following a fall.

They had been enjoying their first holiday together in ‘a good few years’ when Linda experienced’ quite a bad fall’ which saw her rushed into surgery.

‘She’s not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated,’ Rylan explained at the time as he also thanked Scott Mills for covering for him on BBC Radio 2.

On Sunday, the former It Takes Two presenter shared his latest update on Linda, posting a photo of her smiling in hospital, despite having her left leg strapped up and her right arm in a sling.

‘Someone is out of the bed and in a chair,’ the TV star wrote.

‘She can’t believe how many people have sent messages. Thanks everyone. Will update you all with more as I can x,’ he added.
