Martin Lewis’ wife Lara Lewington had bagged a first-of-its-kind presenting job on Lorraine.

The broadcaster, 44, revealed she will be the ITV morning show’s first-ever AI agony aunt, solving technology problems, on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Lara wrote: ‘Excited to announce I’ve joined the @ITV @lorraine team as TV’s first “AI Agony Aunt”.

‘I’ll be breaking down the facts, and answering viewers’ questions on AI and tech.

‘Much important stuff to discuss on what it means to be human in the age of AI. (Still on @bbcclick too!).

Lara is best known for being a presenter on BBC’s Click, which covers technology news. She will continue to front the weekly programme while also appearing on Lorraine.

Her first major role in broadcasting was as a weather presenter for Five before becoming the showbiz correspondent for the channel’s news strand and later moving to Sky News.

Lara is believed to have started dating the Money Saving Expert, 51, in 2005 and they tied the knot four years later.

The couple share 10-year-old daughter, Sapphire, but don’t share pictures of her on social media.

Sharing a rare insight into his family life, Martin previously said: ‘When my daughter was born, I remember saying: “I’ll buy her everything she needs, but not everything she wants.” Unfortunately, I didn’t factor in her special power. Those eyes.

‘I’m helpless and usually resort to saying, “Ask mummy,” because mummy is stronger than me. We don’t splurge on her, but one of my greatest joys is making her happy.’
